1 11 cyclists injured and 2 in critical.
This is a ride I go on every Wednesday night. This past Wednesday I decided not to go and couldn’t believe the news I heard as soon as I woke up the following morning. Cyclists were hit by a drunk driver who was also distracted on her phone. this just goes to show DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. DONT TEXT AND DRIVE.
This is such an unfortunate situation ESPECIALLY because the LAPD has stated that the primary collision factor was “Pedestrians in the Roadway.” This driver actually knocked over cyclists who were stalling and waiting for people to catch up. They were on or by the sidewalk, clearly, because she swerved towards them. There is no justification on her side. The court date will be next month and I plan to be there and keep the update going. Be safe RIDERZ

now I’ll be posting more often. My harddrive crashed and I didn’t have a computer for a while. But now I’ll be posting about bikes and riding more and more!

Bf got the front rim and I got the back. Were twinning it again. And I got new bars a few weeks ago- smashing!
My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to Six Flags a week ago, but we ended up on the wrong freeway and got lost in Thousand Oaks. Anyway, we found this really nice area that’s very secluded with a lot of roadies passing through. There were some very steep hills. We were driving, but decided the next day off we have, we’ll ride over there :)

4 Ride up PCH
The other day I did my first ride through part of PCH. I’ve never liked going through PCH just because it looks so intimidating with all the roadies and fast cars. But when I rode to pepperdine- ahh it was one of the most amazing rides. I was riding with the others (including my bf) and I ended up being the first one to make it to Pepperdine :D
So there will definitely be more Pacific Coast Highway rides to come!
